4/7/2018 0 Comments A Welcome virgin mojitoHello to the ladies who brunch, this post will be, well, a little welcome drink. Well, IT IS MY FIRST POST EVER YAY!!! How exciting! This blog will feature everything that might be of my interest or is somewhat relevant to me. And yes, I almost forgot, the actual welcome drink: Even though it is brunch, a bit of fizz won't kill, it might actually bring you to life. Let me present to you: My Grandma's Virgin Mojito! Don't run away just yet. Yes, the fact that this recipe is my Grandma's does make it a bit repulsive. However, I can assure you that it's delish. See, my grandma is what people call a 'cool grandma' as she is a high social grandma, but not like CeCe Rhodes or Emily Gilmore. It hurts but I gotta admit that she might even be cooler than me because as per this moment, her Instagram followers are over nine times of mine. Be sure to follow her (@eileenrachman) (she didn't ask me to put this in) but of course, also follow me (@kiaraar) HAHAHA. Okay, now we should get into the recipe. Serves : 2-3 Ingredients : -1 Lime, squeezed -1 can club soda -a handful of mint leaves -1 + 1/2 cups crushed ice -20ml simple syrup -20ml mint syrup (I'm using Monin, any will work) Steps : 1. Put in the lime, mint leaves, club soda, simple syrup and mint syrup into a glass. Muddle using... well, a muddler. 2. Shake with the ice. 3. Serve immediately. 4. Enjoy!
