4/6/2017 0 Comments Blog post 9Look how it all turned out, measles is in the house. Yesterday morning, I woke up to a freckled chest. I told my parents and no school for me! (No yay) I really need to go to school because it's the last quarter and I really need to study. However, there is nothing to do about it. I did do some of my assignments at home since a lazy day isn't really worth my near future (aka my sloping grades and my parents being not too friendly about it which can lead to many things such as: less shopping, less phone time, smaller allowance, etc.).
I also had to skip out on my grandmother's book launching party yesterday which I have been looking forward to lots. It's also weird that this is the third time I got measles but blood tests don't lie, right? However, I did have a little text group clash with my dad and stepmom/Mpok in the My Cute Little Family group chat. Don't judge the name of it, my dad made it that way to humiliate me in front of my friends on purpose, whatever. Mpok and I had a little talk and we're good again. Yay. Honestly, this is my worse nightmare. I rather be laying in a hospital bed with a needle stuck in my arm then at home with a disfigured face. I can't even send streaks that are updates on how chill my week is without school in the picture with my face in it unless I use those Snapchat filters that actually disfigures your face on purpose, concealing my red face. Furthermore, I actually feel kinda guilty since I did spend the last day where the virus was under incubation period at school and that is just the day it becomes absolutely contagious. I mean, did I just seriously cause a major measles endemic in my school? Sorry in advance. Anyway, I called the masseuse (who is immune to measles, I checked and she confirmed) and should be getting a nice massage anytime now. Ah, the perks of being sick. Speaking of which, I get to sleep in all day and that is just what I'm gonna do now, sleep. Ciao, Ki
